Malcolm Melling - trumpet

Born in Wigan, now living in Watford, Malcolm started playing the trumpet at 13 and was lead trumpet with the award winning Wigan Youth Jazz Orchestra and also the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. He has played lead trumpet with the Andy Prior Big Band, Syd Lawrence Orchestra and the Glenn Miller Orchestra UK, Petula Clark, Mel B, Kenny Rogers, The 4 Tops and The Temptations. Shows include The Rat Pack, Saturday Night Fever and Dirty Dancing. TV includes This is My Moment and Soapstar, Superstar. Films include Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch.
